Ho recuperato alcune foto fatte soprattutto l’anno scorso. Non sono direttamente attinenti ai film di Sergio Leone ma sono state scattate nelle stesse zone e hanno rappresentato negli anni location per decine di altri film (e anche delle nostre vacanze).
Effettivamente in quest’ultimo periodo per condurre questa piccola ricerca ho visionato, se pur velocemente, un’ottantina di film, dagli anni ’50 ai giorni nostri.
I recovered some photos made especially last year. They are not directly related to Sergio Leone’s films but have been taken in the same areas and, over the years, have represented locations for dozens of other films (and also of our holidays).
Indeed, in the latter period, to conduct this little research, I have seen, although quickly, about eighty films, from the 1950s to the present day.
La Calahorra: ho scoperto che ben prima che Sergio Leone utilizzasse un tratto di ferrovia dismessa nei pressi de La Calahorra, le stesse inquadrature apparivano già in qualche film (ho inserito un esempio relativo ad un film del 1959).
Ho anche individuato con una certa precisione di che tratto di ferrovia si trattasse.
La Calahorra: I discovered that well before Sergio Leone used a stretch of disused railway near La Calahorra, the same shots already appeared in some films (I inserted an example relating to a 1959 film).
I also identified with some precision what section of railway it was.
Rodalquilar: lo stabilimento principale delle miniere d’oro abbandonate sono lo scenario, rimaneggiato con tecniche digitali, di alcuni film, soprattutto fantasy o fantascientifici. Ho aggiunto un paio di esempi.
Rodalquilar: the main factory of the abandoned gold mines are the scenario, reworked with digital techniques, of some movies, especially fantasy or science fiction. I added a couple of examples.
Guadix: siamo stati qui diverse volte a fotografare molte location di film di Sergio Leone. Quest’anno siamo andati a visitare il Barrio de las Cuevas, le antiche abitazioni scavate nella roccia. La vista è suggestiva. Non mi sono fatto mancare la ricerca di alcune scene di film girate in questa zona.
Guadix: We have been here several times to photograph many Sergio Leone film locations. This year we went to visit the Barrio de las Cuevas, the ancient houses carved out of the rock. The view is suggestive. I did not forget to add some movie scenes shot also in this area.
