Il Monastero di San Pedro de Arlanza rappresenta l’interno della Missione di San Antonio dove in Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo, il Biondo viene curato dai frati dopo la traversata del deserto.
Quando eravamo stati qui nel 2012 il Monastero era abbandonato e in cattivo stato. Ora, nel 2022, ci sono tornato e il complesso è stato restaurato e aperto al pubblico.
Così sono riuscito a scattare delle belle foto degli interni, soprattutto la stanza dove il Biondo viene curato.
Nei dintorni poi sono ambientate le scene di battaglia tra Nordisti e Sudisti e il ponte di Langstone che viene fatto saltare da Tuco e il Biondo con la dinamite.
The Monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza represents the interior of the San Antonio Mission where, in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the Blond is treated by the friars after the crossing of the desert.
When we were here in 2012 the Monastery was abandoned and in bad conditions. Now, in 2022, I’m back and the complex has been restored and opened to the public.
So I was able to take some nice photos of the interiors, especially the room where the Biondo is treated.
The battle scenes between the Unionists and the Confederates and the Langstone bridge blown up by Tuco and Biondo with dynamite are set in the surrounding area.
