Uliveto Terme è una frazione di Vicopisano, in provincia di Pisa. Grazie alle sue cave e alla presenza di grandi formazioni rocciose al suo interno rappresenta una location assolutamente unica e altamente suggestiva.
E’ stata utilizzata, almeno a mia conoscenza, soltanto per Il grande Duello, diretto da Giancarlo Santi nel 1972, con Lee Van Cleef e Alberto Dentice.
Le cave sono recintate e l’accesso è proibito ma alla fine ho trovato una stradina laterale da cui sono riuscito ad entrare.
Uliveto Terme is a fraction of Vicopisano, in the province of Pisa. Thanks to its quarries and the presence of large rock formations it represents an absolutely unique and highly suggestive location.
It was used, at least to my knowledge, only for Il grande Duello, directed by Giancarlo Santi in 1972, with Lee Van Cleef and Alberto Dentice.
The quarries are fenced and access is forbidden but in the end I found a side road from which I managed to enter.
