Una molto suggestiva è in Giù la Testa: John & Juan – James Coburn e Rod Steiger – fanno saltare il ponte dove sta passando l’esercito di Gunther Resa.

L’ultima volta che ho fatto un giro da queste parti ho risalito la rambla che porta a quel che resta del ponte e ho scattato questa foto che ritengo fantastica: sullo sfondo le rovine del ponte – ora noto come Puente Leone – e in primo piano i resti di una delle Jeep distrutte nell’esplosione.
Con approccio geniale qualcuno è andato sul posto col metal detector, ha trovato l’auto e l’ha dissotterrata: vera cine-archeologia.

The last time I took a walk around these parts I went up the rambla that leads to what remains of the bridge and I took this photo which I think is fantastic: in the background the ruins of the bridge – now known as Puente Leone – and in the foreground the remains of one of the Jeeps destroyed in the explosion.
With an brillian approach, someone went to the site with a metal detector, found the car and dug it up: real cine-archelogy.
